Nexense Ltd. Anti - apnea. Comparison with the Golden Standard.

November 25, 2007

Subject – Result analysis: Nexense “SleepAP” VS PSG (Embla A-10).

Attached please find summary reports of a sleep study conducted 20-May-07.

Subject description:
Female,
Age – 45,
Height -162cm,
Wight – 96kg,
BMI = 36.64.

The study was conducted in the patient’s home using A – 10 Embla PSG & “SleepAP” by Nexense
Simultaneously, the subject was reefed to the study due to – excessive daytime somnolence & snoring.

The PSG results show an RDI = 21 respiratory events per hour.
EEG shows no indication of abnormal motor activity.
Sleep Stages – ~ normal- with REM time slightly shorter then normal for her age.

The SleepAP system detected – a total of 24.3 respiratory events per hour for the same duration.
I find The difference in results low & is probably due to definitions of event analysis that is not standard – in terms of sensitivity I find this system interesting & shows promise – need to conduct several studies more in order to validate the findings.

Conclusion: The SleepAP system shows promise & when validated could be used as a great screening tool for OSA.

Respectfully,

Dr, Avi Blonder

“Loud and frequent snoring can be more than a nuisance to your partner. This nighttime annoyance may indicate a serious health condition and it can disrupt your household and strain your relationship. “

Nexense Ltd., utilizing its quantum leap innovative sensor technology, has developed a proven solution to the snoring problem, the Nexaver™ SleePure System.

The Nexaver™ SleePure System monitors sleep behavior and outputs a gentle biofeedback upon snore detection. The System allows users to learn how to enjoy free air flow to reduce or cease snoring. The Nexaver™ SleePure improves sleep quality and potentially reduces this risk of long-term heart-related conditions.

The Nexaver™ SleePure System has been successfully tested and has shown excellent results in significantly reducing the amount of snores as well as reducing the intensity of the less frequent sleep disturbances.

To date, the effectiveness of currently available anti- snoring products have either been virtually ineffective, extremely costly or terribly uncomfortable.

The enormous, untapped, sleep disturbance market requires a more effective, more economical and more user friendly solution. The market deserves The Nexaver™ SleePure System.
